Taking back to the 1920. throw out nz people of all ages were a red poppy to remember the men and women who have died in the course of serving their country. The red poppy has become a symbol of war remebrints all over the world. People in many countries were the poppy to remember those who died in war for who still serve. In many countries the poppy are worn around armistice day the 11 of
November but In nz it is most commonly seen around anzac day the 25th april.
